Castlefield Quay is located within the Castlefield Conservation Area, which is criss-crossed by a series of canals and listed railway structures dating back to the 1800s.
This mixed-use scheme in the established residential and commercial area of Castlefield will provide around 250 apartments set within three stunning glass and copper buildings, offices and new bars and restaurants, to add to the vibrancy of the existing community. A further residential scheme of more than 100 apartments will overlook the Roman fort.
The glass towers will be interspersed with the carefully restored listed structures and redundant arches will be refurbished to create around 40,000 sq ft of leisure units on two levels. Abandoned towpaths will be transformed into a dynamic destination with the creation of waterside terraces and a boardwalk.
