A joint venture between Ask and Network Rail is bringing forward a pioneering vision to reconnect the two great cities of Manchester and Salford, across the River Irwell, with a series of stunning new pieces of public realm and a pedestrian footbridge.
This vision, underpinned by urban regeneration company Central Salford URC, will deliver a breathtaking mixed-use scheme consisting of 3.25m sq ft of mixed-use development. The first area to be developed will be a new business district on the site of the old Exchange railway station.
