The Abito concept was specifically launched with a target for delivering apartments in good locations with at least a 20% discount to the costs of other new one bedroom apartments whilst still offering all the qualities that people want - feelings of space and light, good quality finishes and accessible locations.

A research and development programme was undertaken and the compact apartment consisting of one bedroom apartments which cleverly incorporate the kitchen, bathroom, storage space and wardrobes within a central pod in the room, together with a storage wall including a pull down bed was created.

The building itself is a stunning eight storey glass clad structure with marquee style tented roof containing 256 apartments and 8 office units at ground floor housing a range of vibrant, inventive businesses.

The development which completed in March 2007 and is fully occupied, is set within the emerging Greengate Embankment Masterplan.
