John Hughes was recruited from Henry Boot Developments in February 2003 where he ran the North West commercial office for three years.  He has considerable experience in delivering complex retail/leisure/employment projects, including the B&Q retail development adjacent to Blackburn town centre, hi-tec business space on Gemini Business Park in Warrington and a mixed-use project in Douglas, Isle of Man (establishing the platform for £75m of development activity). 

At Ask he is working on a number of exciting projects, including the 400,000 sq ft St. Petersfield Urban Business Quarter in Ashton and the 1.5 million sq ft mixed use Greengate development in Central Salford.
 
John was appointed to the Board in April 2008.
