Ken Knott is the Chief Executive of Ask Property Developments Ltd and the Chairman of Ask:Akeler Developments Ltd. Ken has worked in the commercial property field for over 25 years.
Until December 1999, Ken was a Director of AMEC Developments where over a ten year period he led a team responsible for securing major strategic projects throughout Northern England, the Midlands and Scotland with a projected density of over 4m sq ft and a projected end value of £600m. Notable projects in which he had a close personal involvement were the 250,000 sq ft Barbirolli Square office development in Manchester City Centre, and the 750,000 sq ft Cheadle Royal Business Park.
Ask was set up in January 2000 by Ken Knott, Andy Dodd and Simon Bate, and in February 2001 merged with Manchester regeneration specialists, Westport Developments. Ask is now involved in some of the North West’s largest schemes and is one of the key players in the revitalisation of Manchester.
